Doctors & Clinics Keene
I was drawn to surgery because it's something that I can do to make a lifelong difference for patients. I like being able to fix something, to make a tangible change in a relatively short period. The most rewarding thing is getting to know my patients. I help them figure out what problem is actually leading to their symptoms. This is not always as it first appears. I like to help patients feel better and improve their quality of life. I was in the military for almost 30 years. That experience lets me build a rapport with my patients very quickly. They feel like I’m very understanding and easy to talk to, and I really enjoy that. I try to be as transparent as I possibly can and to very precisely explain what to expect both before and after surgery. I’ve been at Cheshire for a few years, and after many years of moving around, my family and I have decided that we are not moving again. I feel very invested in this hospital and the community, in just making sure that people here are taken care of and that all is well.
